From Komo To Naagin, Hina Khan’s First Look From Season 5 Is Out & It’s Drop-Dead-Gorgeous
After just wrapping up the shoot for Naagin 4, Colors TV did not rest even for a little while to release the teaser for season 5. Looks like they are trying to make up for all the time lost during the lockdown, not that we are complaining. It’s been only a few hours since the teaser came out and the cast aka the new naagin aka Hina Khan is already the talk of the town. From Komolika in Kasautii Zindagi Kay to Bollywood debut to the new-age naagin, Hina looks ready to give 2020 the boot. And how!
Earlier today, Colors TV took to their Instagram to reveal Hina Khan’s look as the new naagin. The show is set to air every Saturday and Sunday at 8 pm, however, the date hasn’t been announced yet. Take a look at Naagin 5’s teaser!
For a long time, there were rumours doing rounds about who will be cast as the next naagin. Besides Hina Khan, names like Shivin Narang and Krystle D’Souza were floating around too. Finally, two months ago, Ekta Kapoor took to Instagram and settled all speculations by saying, “As far as your suggestions go, I’ll take them all but I am not sure if I would be able to cast those actors because it will depend on the script so no more rumours.” Looks like Hina was once again the perfect fit for an Ekta production.
Fans are going gaga over this announcement and hashtag #Naagin5WithHinaKhan is already trending on social media like crazy. A lot of the comments on this post are claiming season 5 to be a blockbuster, even before its broadcast. Comments like “hottest naagin ever” is another common sight today.
According to reports, Ekta wanted Hina to be a part of this supernatural drama series in the previous season too, but her dates weren’t available. However, as soon as the script for season 5 was locked, Ekta got in touch with Hina and finalised her role as the lead. This season will also see actor Dheeraj Dhoopar in a negative role as a shape-shifting naag.
Naagin gained its fandom ever since the first instalment came out in 2015. Starring actors such as Mouni Roy, Surbhi Jyoti, Karishma Tanna, Anita Hassanandani, Pearl V Puri, Nia Sharma, and Rashami Desai–all extremely popular names in the TV industry–it soon became a cult-favourite. Hina Khan’s name is another TRP-worthy addition. Well played there, Ekta Kapoor.
