A while ago, Kangana Ranaut left the internet in a frenzy as she made some shocking claims about Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. From calling them a ‘Farzi couple’ to taking a dig at their marriage, the Queen actress said a lot about the couple. However, in a surprising turn of events, Kangana recently cheered for Alia Bhatt.

At the 69th edition of the National Film Awards, Alia Bhatt bagged the title of Best Actress for her 2022 film, Gangubai Kathiawadi. While Kangana’s film Thalaivii couldn’t make it to the list of awardees, she penned the sweetest message for all the stars of the moment, which includes Alia. Taking to her ‘Gram stories to congratulate the actors, Kangana wrote, “Congratulations to all the winners of #NationalAwards2023. It is such an art carnival that brings all the artists across the country together…. It’s truly magical to know and to get introduced to so much important work that’s happening across all languages. All of you who are disappointed that my film Thalaivii didn’t win any… Please know I am eternally grateful for whatever Krishna give and didn’t give me and all of you who really love and appreciate me much appreciate my perspective as well… Art is subjective and I truly believe that jury did their best…. All About The 69th National Awards!

The 69th edition of the National Awards was held on August 24, 2023. While Allu Arjun bagged the Best Actor award for the film Pushpa: The Rise, Alia Bhatt and Kriti Sanon shared the award for Best Actress for the films Gangubai Kathiawadi and Mimi respectively. While Rocketry: The Nambi Effect won the award for Best Feature Film, The Kashmir Files won the Nargis Dutt Award for Best Film on National Integration at the 69th National Film Awards. Other Bollywood movies to be rewarded with several awards include Shershaah, Sardar Udham, and more.

While Kangana might have crossed the line with her baseless claims about Alia, it’s good to see her extending a hand of friendship.
