Do you know what makes your feet smell? It’s not sweat, but the bacteria that grows when it accumulates over time. Sweat on your feet is actually odourless, and contains proteins and amino acids which serve as food for the bacteria. To get rid of that nasty smell, we suggest you learn to take care of your precious feet. Here are 5 beauty hacks to keep your feet from smelling!
1. Strong Vinegar
Vinegar is not only a kitchen staple, but also helps fight feet odour. When you submerge your feet into a tub of vinegar it creates an acidic environment which is not conducive to the bacteria.
Step 1 – Add half a cup of vinegar to a bowl of hot water.
Step 2 – Dip your feet into the bowl, and soak it for about 10 to 15 minutes.
Step 3 – Gently remove your feet from the bowl, wash it well with soap and wipe dry.
Tip – If you want to further protect your feet from sweat and bacteria, we suggest you also give this foot spray a shot!
2. Handy Baking Soda

Step 1 – Pour ¼ cup of baking soda into a foot bowl that contains hot water.
Step 2 – Wait till the baking soda dissolves into the water, and pour a tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
Step 3 – Dip your feet into the bowl and keep it soaked in for 15-20 minutes.
Step 4 – Gently remove your feet and pat dry using a towel.
