How do you do grunge-girl makeup, then? Victoria depicts one of the simplest iterations of the trend. She doesn’t focus too much on the skin as much as she does on studding the eyes with colour. You can skip the highlighter and blush for this one; but a warm-toned bronzer is a must-have. She sweeps the product all over her temples and cheeks before stippling the face with freckles. The lids are coloured with a cream-based, jet-black eyeshadow, and extended into wings. A dusting of silver is layered onto the eyes; brow-gel is applied to fluff and tease the brows; and the hair is tousled a little bit to play into the aesthetic even more. That’s it. Lizzo might have played it soft on the eyes; but the singer declared her lips the show-stopper of her gothic-grunge aesthetic.
