See Pics: Shraddha & Shahid Reunite For This Movie

Shahid Kapoor and Shraddha Kapoor have started shooting for their next release, Batti Gul Meter Chalu in Uttrakhand. While it’s great to see the duo working together in another film, you will be happy to know that Yami Gautam is a part of this movie, too. However, according to a popular daily, she is vacationing with her sister and will join the crew a few days later. Meanwhile, the shooting has already started and the trio will rock the silver screen in the later half of 2018.

The movie is being directed by Shree Narayan Singh and is jointly produced by T-Series and KriArj Entertainment. The director has recently given two back-to-back successes with Akshay Kumar: Toilet, Ek Prem Katha and PadMan, so we’re excited to see what’s up his sleeve this time.

The movie is said to be a light-hearted social drama that circles around electricity in different regions. They are currently shooting in Tehri, Uttarakhand. The movie will release worldwide in August 2018. After Haider, this will be the second time that Shahid and Shraddha are working together and unlike their dramatic costumes in the last film, they are looking like people next door in this one.
