After making us sit on the edge of our seats, the most awaited sequel of the year, Made In Heaven 2 is all set to roll out on August 10th, 2023. With a stellar star cast and a brilliant plot portraying the harsh realities of society, the show has already set the bar quite high. With less than a day left for its release, Prime Video recently hosted a starry shebang for the premiere of Made In Heaven 2. While some stars came dressed up to the nines, others missed the mark by an inch. Scroll down to see the fashion hits and misses from the night:
Hits
Sobhita Dhulipala
Sobhita’s sartorial fashion picks never disappoint and last night was no different. For the grand premiere, the actress flaunted a flowy ensemble featuring swirl embellishments. The risque neckline, the long trail, and the statement earrings took the oomph factor up to several notches.
Elnaaz Norouzi
Elnaaz Norouzi made sure to channel her desi goddess as she slipped into a mesh saree by Manish Malhotra that featured starry adornments in zig-zag patterns. She paired it up with a sweetheart neck-shaped blouse with criss-cross detailing at the back. A 10/10 serve.
Shibani Akhtar
Shibani Dandekar’s ‘Gram feed is proof that the star always puts her best foot forward when it comes to fashion. The actress, who is making a cameo in the show flaunted a denim-on-denim attire that comprised an oversized front-open denim shacket paired with matching cargo pants. Some added statement jewels and a messy bun served as the cherry on the cake.
Dia Mirza
Dia Mirza played safe at the grand premiere and chose to go with her signature desi ensemble. She opted for a pre-draped and pleated black coloured saree and paired it with a tiny bodycon blouse. She completed the look with a pair of matching heels and well-styled locks.
Trinetra Haldar
Trinetra chose to walk the blue carpet in six yards of elegance but with a modern twist. She donned a dhoti-styled saree that featured modern patterns and paired it with a matching bustier blouse. Safe to say, a 10/10 serve.
Shweta Tripathi
While we saw a lot of saree looks at the shindig, Shweta’s pearl-white cotton saree made a lot of heads turn. What added to the quirkiness of the ensemble were the colourful fish patterns at the border and a black and white checkered blouse.
Jim Sarabh
I don’t remember Jim Sarabh not killing it with his fashion choices in every room he enters. The actor, who plays the lead in the show, took the lead last night in the fashion department as he wore a brown-hued statement blazer with leaf prints. Finishing off the attire, he added a pair of same coloured satin pants and a shirt.
Misses
Mona Singh
Be it ethnic attires or Western looks, Mona Singh always makes sure to slay the best of worlds. However, she failed to win our hearts with her recent outing. While the ill-fitted bodice area failed to enhance her curves well, the only thing saving the grace was her pretty smile.
Amruta Subhash
As someone who’s a big fan of Amruta’s acting skills, I expected her to put a lil more effort into the dressing department. Be it the furry shirt or the ground-touching pants, the outfit is giving major 2000s.
Arjun Mathur
Playing one of the leads in the show, we def expected some out-of-the-box look from Arjun. While the basic grey tee and pants might’ve made for an appropriate outfit for running errands, wearing ’em to a starry event was a big NO!
What a night! Can’t wait to binge-watch the show this weekend.
