Fashion Hits & Misses From A Recent Bollywood Blue Carpet!

The extravagant events in Bollywood don’t seem to end anytime soon, and we ain’t complaining. We spotted some of our fave celebs at the recent screening event of the upcoming movie Jee Karda, hosted by Prime Videos. While some of them totally ate and won our hearts with their blue carpet lewks, others failed to make a statement and left us wondering if they could do any better. Let’s revisit the fashion hits and misses from the event:

Hits

Anya Singh

Anya Singh seems to be a rising star with her big Bollywood break, and her ensemble just screamed the same. Anya opted for a figure-hugging pearl-white gown that featured a one-shoulder neckline. The cut-out midriff and thigh-high slit just added to the sultriness of the outfit. Those studded heels just added the cherry on the cake.

Samvedna Suwalka

Safe to say, Samvedna turned heads at the blue carpet last night. Dolled up in an electric blue-coloured satin blouse paired up with a crisis cross bralette and a straight skirt, the Drishyam actress looked like a dream! The thigh-high slit just added up to the risque factor and amped up her look up to several notches. A 10/10 serve!

Kritika Kamra

Kritika Kamra hardly disappoints with her fashion choices, and last night was no different. She opted for a much-trendy denim waistcoat and paired it with classy black wide-legged pants. However, what stole the limelight was her heart-shaped conical crossbody bag. Now that’s how you make a statement even with following the memo of ‘comfort before anything’!

Aashim Gulati

Apart from his acting, B-town’s certified hottie Aashim Gulati is known for slaying his casual rebellious personal style every single time he steps out. For the blue carpet, he opted for a hand-printed multicoloured shirt by BOBO Calcutta and paired it with slim-fit pants. Loved how he maintained the balance by just adding a basic gold-chain to the look.

Aditya Seal

Aditya’s phenomenal sense of fashion is no secret and was quite evident at the screening event. He opted for a casual attire that comprised a white-coloured striped tee paired up with a sweater vest and relaxed-fit denim pants. My fave part of his look? Those tangerine sneakers and his initials printed on his vest!

Misses:

Sanya Malhotra

While Sanya Malhotra is known for slaying her fashion lewks, her recent one missed the mark. While the gathered detailing complemented her curves well, the ill-fitted sleeves and distorted round neckline looked a bit too jumbled. The only element that saved the day were her cutesy pair of kitten heels.

Tamannaah Bhatia

While Tamannaah Bhatia has been on a roll with her risque outfits of late, she couldn’t make an impression with her recent one. With the neon-coloured blazer and a messy bun updo, the actress surely gave boss vibes. But what ruined the look was her out-of-place belt and ill-fitted pants that didn’t highlight her curves well enough. We surely expected way more from her.

Richa Chadha

From Cannes to Bollywood shaadis, I have seen Richa in some incredible looks. However, this one was a big miss and mess! Be it the basic white crumbled tee or the unmatched bottoms, looks like the actress made no effort.

Shweta Tripathi

While Shweta’s outfit could’ve made for a nice casual brunch look, it wasn’t appropriate for a blue carpet event.

As someone who loves to play fashion police and judge celeb outfits sitting in my blanket, I don’t want these events to ever stop!
