Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif have been ruling our hearts ever since they tied the knot in 2021. The couple has been incredibly supportive of each other’s careers. However, not everyone agrees with this. Recently, Vicky was dropped from his dream project Immortal Ashwatthama and the internet had a lot to say about this.
According to the grapevine, Vicky has been replaced by Ranveer Singh for the project. The film that was earlier shelved has been revived once again but Vicky is no longer a part of it. In no time, ‘Vicky Kaushal Career Drops’ became a top trend on Twitter. Many blamed Katrina for Vicky’s replacement for the project. Yes, it is as absurd as it sounds!
I can’t believe how people think it is normal to blame a woman for whatever happens in a man’s professional life. You will never see Vicky receiving the flak for ups and downs in Katrina’s career. A man is still considered to be a woman’s responsibility and that’s why Katrina is getting bashed unfairly. There is no rational reason that can justify this misogynistic trend!
Here’s What Happened With Immortal Ashwatthama’s Production
Vicky was supposed to reunite with his Uri: The Surgical Strike director Aditya Dhar for the project in 2020. However, due to the pandemic, the project was put on hold. The film’s production work was then supposed to begin in 2021 but was delayed again due to budget-related issues.
After the film was shelved, the Masaan actor shared, “Every time the film is bigger than me or any individual attached to the film. So, we have to choose a time that justifies making that film. So, we are waiting for that time to come.”
However, later the project was offered to Ranveer instead of Vicky.
Any film or project that features a man is not the responsibility of his wife or partner. I hope Vicky will shut down the trolls soon!
