After Yami Gautam and Aditya Dhar’s surprise shaadi, there is yet another hush-hush celeb wedding that will soon take over our social media feeds. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani actress Evelyn Sharma married beau, Dr. Tushaan Bhindi last month and she made it Insta official earlier today. The two said their vows in an intimate, country-style ceremony in Brisbane, Australia on May 15. The ceremony was kept limited keeping in mind the current pandemic situation. 

Evelyn talked about the wedding in a recent interaction with an entertainment publication and said, “There’s no better feeling than being married to your best friend. We’re so excited about spending our life together. We started our wedding celebrations with a legal ceremony. Of course, we would have loved for our family and friends from around the world to be present, but we know their blessings are always with us.”

She further shared that they plan on throwing a grand reception once the pandemic situation calms down and things go back to normal. The two got engaged back in 2019 and have been delaying their wedding for over a year now owing to the COVID-19 situation. “In times like this, we did not want to draw a lot of attention to ourselves; we wanted to keep things simple and straightforward. For the ceremony, Evelyn opted for a boat neck trumpet-cut gown. The sheer, lace details on her outfit are to die for. Also on our fashion radar are the subtle scalloped accents of her sleeves. The actress finished off her look with minimal drop earrings and a messy hairdo. While, the look is apt for an impromptu, intimate wedding, we feel that there surely remains scope for a tennis bracelet.
