Emma Watson’s Response To Her Tattoo Controversy Is Just What We Expected From Hermione Granger

The 90th Academy Awards, as well as the after-parties, saw many stars in black, a few adding a ‘Time’s Up’ badge, Emma Watson debuted a swanky new tattoo. She stunningly drew the attention to a worthy cause but something was off. The tattoo artist missed an apostrophe, and that’s bothering everyone.

Emma has been an active supporter of the Time’s Up campaign throughout the award season and chose to walk the red carpet at the Vanity Fair’s Oscars after-party in a black gown and a tattoo that read ‘Times Up’ instead of ‘Time’s Up’.

Soon after she proudly flashed the tattoo for cameras, it became difficult for people to not notice the missing apostrophe. It probably became even bigger news than expected because nobody expects an error like that from someone who is a tireless campaigner for women’s rights and as brilliant as Emma aka Hermione Granger. Last month, Emma donated £1 million to a fund for victims of sexual harassment and later she joined in the women who donned black in a show of solidarity to the cause.

We weren’t sure if Emma’s tattoo was permanent or fake but when the news went viral, Emma spoke up. And her response was just what we expected from Hermione.

Her tweet doesn’t only clarify that the tattoo isn’t real but also adds a humorous twist to the whole story.

Her response is witty enough to make us laugh all day long. On the other hand, fans have already started applying for the job.

Well, with all said and done, we love how passionately Emma chose to show support to the cause.

However, the badass-female moments from the Oscars don’t end here.

We would love to give an honourable mention to Jennifer Lawrence for giving us the moment-of-the-night. After falling for two years in a row at the Oscars, she managed to climb over a stack of dusty chairs in Dior. That’s beauty, right there! The moment was epic. Anyone who has worn couture knows that there’s no such thing as too much movement. Let’s not limit the definition of beauty to ‘perfection’.

Cheers to Emma and Jen for making it a night to remember for all women!
