Emily Ratajkowski, an American model, actor and activist recently surprised us by sharing the news of her marriage to her new boyfriend, Sebastian Bear-McClard. The 26-year-old model tied the knot with her producer beau at a courthouse in New York City. Despite making it a hush-hush ceremony, the most surprising part about her wedding was her ‘wedding dress’.
While most of us spend days finding a perfectly flared wedding outfit, Emily ditched the traditional dress to don a cute mustard ‘70s-inspired affordable pantsuit with a fabric belt from Zara. Amazing, right?
What’s even more interesting is the same pantsuit was worn by Sonakshi Sinha a few weeks back while promoting her movie Welcome To New York.
While both divas wore the look on completely different occasions, their styling was similar. Both Sonakshi and Emily paired Zara’s mustard pantsuit with black shoes, a statement ring and left their hair loose, although Emily wore a hat along as, of course, it was her wedding. Sonakshi look was styled by celebrity stylist Mohit Rai.
If this doesn’t make this pantsuit go out of stock then what will? Both stars owned the mustard yellow double-breasted long blazer, which retails at Rs 6,990 that was clinched at the waist with a coordinating fabric belt. It was paired with a matching flared trousers, which retails at Rs 3,999. We loved the super chic wide-brimmed black hat with netting on Emily though, it was a modern take on a bridal veil.
Zara has many options in the similar style but the mustard one is sure to sell out, so pick your pair before it’s too late.
