Fake & Desperate: Devoleena Bhattacharjee On Eijaz Khan-Pavitra Punia Love Angle In BB14

It was just a few days ago that Eijaz Khan and Pavitra Punia’s complicated relationship had us speculating if they were the #Sidnaaz of Bigg Boss 14. Since the very first week in the Bigg Boss house, the two have shared a rather bizarre bond, quite reminiscent of the most talked-about jodi of Bigg Boss 13. They have had crazy fights simply on the grounds that one of them was jealous. That said, they haven’t also shied away from indulging in some serious PDA, right in the middle of a BB task.

To add to it, in last night’s episode, we saw that Shehnaaz Gill entering the Bigg Boss house, and asking Eijaz-Pavitra to participate in a ‘Prem ka game’, and send them for a romantic date. Sounds like a case of fortuitous coincidences, right? Well, not so much in the eyes of Bigg Boss 13 contestant, Devoleena Bhattacharjee aka Saath Nibhaana Saathiya‘s Gopi bahu. Not only has she quashed the possibility of even a semblance of a relationship here but has also called the bond super forced and fake. 

She took to Twitter after last night’s episode and raised the same. Devoleena wrote, “Bas sirf dikhawa dikhawa...I wonder real banke entertain karna hota hai yaa Kuch bhi karo bas entertain karo..So fake & desperate. (Just a show off. I wonder if it is entertain being your real self or do whatever to fill in the gaps. So fake and desperate).” She further added in another tweet, “Couple goals…. hadd hai yaar..bas karna hai toh kuch bhi karo.”

Not completely supporting Devoleena here but in the episode, Eijaz can be seen taking a clear 180 as he goes on praising Pavitra and openly flirting with her. It was just a couple of days ago that he denied having any feelings for her. However, in the video, he can be seen flirting and telling Pavitra that he is absolutely smitten by her beauty. 

In the same episode, the two can also be seen praising each other. Talking about the qualities that he admires about Pavitra, Eijaz says, “She is emotional, centre of attraction and brings barkat wherever she goes.” She responds to this by saying, “I see a kid in Eijaz. He needs a lot of care and pampering.” Eijaz can also be heard praising Pavitra’s eye makeup and how it has him absolutely enamoured.

Given that Shehnaaz has been specially sent to the house to facilitate the romance between them is actually raising a lot of suspicions. The fact that the Bigg Boss makers seek to peddle it as the romance of the season is pretty clear. However, whether Eijaz and Pavitra really mean it or are just feigning it right now is hard to tell. That said, we are kinda getting invested and are excited to see where it goes from here.
