Drashti Dhami’s Josh Is High After Meeting ‘Hottie’ Vicky Kaushal & We Totally Get It!
Vicky Kaushal has been getting love from the industry, critics and fans since his Masaan days, but after the release of his 2019 blockbuster Uri: The Surgical Strike, he has been riding high on the wave of success. Yami Gautam and Vicky Kaushal starrer Uri has not only made a place in audience’s hearts, but has also done exceedingly well on the box office. His dialogue in the movie, “How’s the josh?” has become a nationwide chant and he has been getting shouts of ‘High Sir’ on social media and in person.
It’s not just the audience who’s crushing on Vicky. Fellow stars have also become a fan of the Raazi actor. Recently, when Silsila Badlte Rishton Ka star Drashti Dhami bumped into Vicky Kaushal, she was starstruck. She even called the actor a ‘hottie’ in the caption of a picture she posted on her social media account. She wrote, “How’s the josh @vickykaushal09 ..for me it’s HIGH SIR ! 😍😍😍😍 total fan moment whn I saw this hottie ❤️”
In another interview about Uri, Vicky Kaushal said, “I keep telling Aditya, this is my first superhero film.” He further added, “Our soldiers call themselves a breed apart. After Uri, I understood why they do so. It’s not because of how tough they are. It’s just their willingness to stand before a nation to take a bullet and pull the trigger when it’s needed. To be away from their families for months at a stretch and not knowing when they will come back, or if they will come back at all. That wilfulness to serve the nation, people who they don’t know. All of that. They take pride in it and the way they do so is mesmerising.”
Along with the makers, the fans and the country, the film clearly means a lot to Yami Gautam as well. While speaking to an entertainment portal, Yami said, “There’s a lot of gratitude and we are very happy as a team. We are extremely happy that a good film has done so well. It’s a film that I am proud to be a part of, which will be in my filmography. To instill patriotism in people is a huge thing and I am privileged to be a part of such a film.”
Looks like everyone’s JOSH will stay high for a while now, all thanks to the makers of Uri and of course, Vicky!
