The United States of America is one of the worst-affected countries by COVID-19. With over 7.31 million coronavirus cases in the US, President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump too tested positive this morning. Trump isn’t the only world leader to get coronavirus. In the past couple of months, United Kingdom Prime Minister, Boris Johnson along with Brazilian President, Jair Bolsonaro and even Prince Charles have tested positive for coronavirus.

Donald Trump took to Twitter to confirm the news.

An hour after Trump’s tweet, his wife, Melania Trump confirmed the same on Twitter.

The US President and First Lady will both be quarantined at home until they’ve fully recovered. According to Melania Trump’s tweet, all upcoming engagements have been postponed. This includes Trump’s Florida campaign trip as well. Judd Deere, Deputy Assistant to the US President, also took to Twitter to share the memorandum from the President’s physician.

This is how Twitter reacted to Donald Trump’s tweet after he announced that he and his wife have tested positive for COVID-19. Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi too sent across his best wishes.

Considering Donald Trump is 74 years old, his case falls under high risk and here’s wishing the couple a speedy recovery.
