3 DIY Blackhead Peel-Off Masks That’ll Unclog Your Pores Like Magic

When it comes to some of the most painful beauty procedures, getting blackheads extracted is right up there. Although the procedure barely takes a minute, when the parlour wali didi is busy digging the skin on our nose to extract that gooey mess, all of us are crying internally.

Blackheads are caused due to excessive secretion of oil and sebum and a build-up of dead skin and dirt in the pores. These happen anywhere on the skin but especially the oil-prone areas like the T-zone and chin.

There are of course many ways of dealing with them- blackhead removal strips and suction tools but why not try some at-home recipes for this? We are talking about DIY peel-off masks that not only make you glow but also help get rid of those blackheads for good.

DIY Blackhead Peel-Off Masks That Work Super Well

Parlour wali did? We (don’t) need her!

Before you put on your DIY Hats, remember to wash your face thoroughly before trying one of these masks. Also, cover your face with a warm towel for 2-3 minutes as it really makes the peeling process really easy.

Egg Peel-Off Mask

You’ll Need:

Step 1: In a bowl, add all the ingredients together and mix well. Make sure you do not add the yolk as it’ll stink really bad.

Step 2: Apply a thin layer of this DIY egg & lemon mask all over your face or only the places where blackheads are prominent and then apply one layer of tissue.

Step 3: Repeat this three times (three layers of the egg mask and three layers of tissue). Keep in on your face for about 15-20 minutes and then slowly peel it off.

Use this DIY peel-off mask twice a week and be bet that those blackheads would be history.

DIY Honey Peel-Off Mask

You’ll Need:

Step 1: In a bowl, combine both the ingredients and mix them together.

Step 2: Next, put the mix into the microwave for 15-20 seconds to melt them properly and then set it aside to cool down.

Step 3: Once the mixture looks thick and properly mixed, apply it to the affected area for 25-30 minutes and then slowly peel it off.

This DIY peel-off mask is for everyone who has sensitive skin and hates using methods that might flare up their skin.

DIY Mint Peel-Off Mask

You’ll Need:

Step 1: In a bowl, add a handful of mint leaves and boil them for about 30 mins.

Step 2: While the mint leaves are getting boiled, microwave 1/3 cup of water for about 15 seconds and then add gelatin powder to it.

Step 3: Mix the gelatin mix properly and ensure there are no lumps. Then add lemon juice.

Step 4: Separate your mint leaves from the water and turn them into a fine paste and add it to the mix.

Step 5: Using the facial brush, apply the DIY mask over all the affected area, wait for 15-20 minutes before peeling it off.

Use this DIY peel-off mask to get rid of pesky blackheads in a jiffy. Make sure you moisturise your face well after using any of the above.
