Did Divya Agarwal Break Up With Apurva For This Surprising Reason?

Divya Agarwal and Apurva Padgaonkar’s engagement announcement surprised pretty much everyone. But in the last couple of months, these two have grown on me as my new favourite jodi. Interestingly enough Divya and Apruva’s love story started many years ago. In fact, before the actress started dating Varun Sood, she fell for Apurva.

In an interview, Divya revealed that she met Apurva during her pageant days. The actress said that on their second date, she told him that she wanted to get married.  

Divya said, “I looked at him and said, ‘I want to get married to you.’ To this Apurva replied, ‘I didn’t have marriage on my mind at all.’ I have said this, he is the exact replica of my father. Their height, personality, habits and everything matched.” So, Divya was not on board with his no-shaadi plan and that was the breaking point for them.

In the same interaction, Apurva shared, “I never wanted to get married. I still am against the idea of marriage but I will marry her. I want to spend my life with her.”

Both Apurva and Divya emphasised the fact that they just put their relationship on ‘pause’. The restaurateur added that when they first started dating he didn’t want to marry and Divya wanted it. That’s the reason why they put an end to their relationship. Eventually, Apurva and Divya moved on in their lives but they remained friends. But life had other plans for them!

Sometimes it is about the right person but the wrong timing. It might not have been the right time for Apurva and Divya then, but they eventually reconnected and the rest is history. 

Divya and Apurva’s love story proves sometimes all you need in love is time and patience!
