Humari Pyaari Dulhan: Deepika’s ‘Reel’ Vs ‘Real’ Bridal Beauty Lookbook!

Last night, Deepika Padukone had a Cinderella moment when she married her Prince, Ranveer Singh, at Lake Como in Italy. Even though the wait for the pictures to come out felt like FOREVER, it was totally worth it! While Deepika looked gorgeous in both, red and white Sabyasachi ensembles, we couldn’t help but notice how beautiful her makeup looked on her. This picture is proof!

Nothing too over the top, Deep’s makeup was simple and subtle. Her pout was nude, she hardly had any blush on and her skin looked matte and perfect. The main focus was on her eye makeup though. She went for an earthy brown and gold smokey eye that looked absolutely amazing! However, this isn’t the first time Dips was dressed in a bridal attire! She’s played the role of a bride in many Bollywood films in the past too. How is her bridal makeup different from her reel and real life, you ask? Let’s just say you’re about to find out *Wink* 

1. Padmaavat

From kohl-rimmed eyes to structured brows, Deepika Padukone looked like royalty in Padmaavat. Not to mention that her nude pout and blush looked equally stunning on her. Actually, this makeup look is quite similar to the one she’s worn to her Konkani wedding, don’t you think? 

2. Finding Fanny

Doesn’t Deepika Padukone make the prettiest Catholic bride? Hell yeah! Rosy pink lips and a class bar eyeliner, Deepika is happy with just that amount of makeup. No major contouring or highlighting – she’s a natural beauty! 

3. Chennai Express

From all the bridal looks in Deepika’s reel life, this one has probably been the brightest of them all. Here, the colour of her blush and mulberry pout is pretty evident. Instead of eyeshadow, her eyeliner and mascara-coated lashes are doing all the talking. Also, don’t her dimples look adorbs? We think so too!

4. Love Aaj Kal

We know how much Deepika loves smokey eye makeup, right? Here, it’s kind of the opposite. While her lips have a lovely soft shade of coral on them, her eyes are coloured a metallic lavender shade. Isn’t she a stunner?
