Deepika Padukone Is Louis Vuitton’s New Ambassador And We Suspect Bigger Things Are Coming

The year 2022 has Deepika Padukone written all over it. DP will be attending the Cannes Film Festival as a jury member and that means we can expect some internet-breaking looks every single day! And thanks to a freshly brewing love affair, we kinda have an idea of what to expect from the diva on the red carpet. 

Of late, Deepika seems to be obsessed with the French luxury brand, Louis Vuitton. From her airport outings to magazine cover shoots, she’s been sporting a lot of LV and last night, we finally got to know the reason. Hold your breaths as we make the big reveal because this is MAJOR! 

Deepika is Louis Vuitton’s new House Ambassador and we can’t contain our excitement! She will be sharing the title with American actress Emma Stone and Chinese actress, Zhou Dongyu. 

“Padukone has been touted as one of Indian cinema’s most loved and successful actresses to date, and her achievements have made her an icon of recent times,” the brand’s statement reads. The announcement comes in time with the launch of LV’s Dauphine bag campaign. For the impactful albeit simple campaign, the Ambassadors embody a characteristic of the new bag and it is Deepika’s “free-spirited nature” that is reflected in the bag. 

But that’s not it. A lot of things are happening at Louis Vuitton right now. The brand is preparing for a grand show at California’s iconic Salk Institute tomorrow. Given that DP has already left the country, we can’t help but wonder if she is going to be a part of it. What makes us even more suspicious is that DP’s stylist Shaleena Nathani posted teasers of the upcoming show only to delete them later!

Maybe there are bigger things in the making. Maybe, Deepika is all set to blow our minds even before the Cannes Film Festival starts. You never know!
