Deepika’s Favourite Summer Fruit Is Loaded With Beauty Benefits

Deepika Padukone just posted a picture of a bowl of fruit and it is evident that mango season has arrived. The Pathaan star has always said that she likes to drink lots of water and eat loads of fruits to maintain her natural beauty from within and I’m taking her word for it. 

Since she’s drooling over mangoes (as indicated in her post’s caption), I’m already curious about how this delicious fruit is going to benefit her skin and hair. Turns out she’s going to have the perfect summer glow, because mangoes are loaded with vitamins and they can be applied topically too.

It Doubles As A Beauty Supplement

A single serving of mangoes makes up for almost 67% of recommended daily vitamin C intake. Vitamin C is great for skin health and essential for bodily functions. 

It also has other essential nutrients such as vitamin B6, vitamin A, vitamin E, copper, and folate which are usually in beauty supplements. So eating a bowl full of mangoes like Deepika is a delicious alternative.
