Remember when you used to have dinner depending on what time your favourite show aired on television? There are a few serials that take us down the nostalgia lane because they were so close to our hearts. Left Right Left was one such show that came as a breath of fresh air. The show began airing in 2006 and was a refreshing change from regular daily soaps. Left Right Left had an amazing star cast that inspired the youth to feel more connected to the armed forces. 13 years later, let’s take a look at where those young cadets are now.

Rajeev Khandelwal As Captain Rajveer

Although his character died at the end of the show, Captain Rajveer continued to live in our hearts forever. Rajeev Khandelwal has had numerous critically-acclaimed films, such as Aamir, Table No. 21 and Shaitan. He became a big name in the Indian household with his reality shows Deal Ya No Deal and Sacch Ka Saamna. He was last seen in Zee TV’s talk show Juzzbaat that aired in 2018.

Shveta Salve As Dr Ritu Mishra

Shveta Salve played the role of Dr Ritu Mishra on the show. She gained significant popularity by participating in reality shows like Khatron Ke Khiladi and Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa (wherein she was the runner up). The actress then moved to the big screen and was seen in supporting roles in a couple of movies such as Dil Toh Baccha Hai Ji and Ram Leela.

Arjun Bijlani As Cadet Aalekh Sharma

We all know him as the oh-so-adorable Mayank from Miley Jab Hum Tum, but Arjun Bijlani shot to fame for his role as Cadet Aalekh Sharma in Left Right Left. He has since played the lead for numerous TV shows like Meri Aashiqui Tum Se Hi and Naagin and is currently playing the character of Deep Raj Singh in Ishq Mein Marjawan.

Sanaya Irani As Cadet Sameera Shroff

Sanaya Irani played the role of Sameera Shroff and was one of the cutest cadets on the show. Her fans were elated with joy when she tied the knot in 2016 with long-term boyfriend Mohit Sehgal, her co-star from Miley Jab Hum Tum. She participated in dance reality shows Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Zara Nachke Dikha, and was most recently seen as a guest contestant on India’s Next Superstars.

Harshad Chopda As Cadet Ali Baig

The sincere one among all the cadets, Cadet Ali Baig played by Harshad Chopda was a treat to the eyes. He got rave reviews for his character Aditya Hooda on his last show Bepannah.

Hiten Tejwani As Colonel Abhay Verma

Hiten was one of the popular actors when he entered the cast of Left Right Left as Colonel Abhay Verma. He is known for his characters in serials like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi, Kutumb and Pavitra Rishta. The actor is now playing Inspector Bharat Singh Rathore on Colors TV’s Tantra.

Kunal Karan Kapoor As Cadet Yadhuvansh Sahni

Gaurav Chopra As Captain Abhimanyu Rai Chauhan

Gaurav Chopra, or shall we say the hottie of Indian TV, was greatly appreciated for his portrayal of Captain Abhimanyu Rai Chauhan in Left Right Left. The actor became a household name with Nach Baliye, Uttaran and Gulmohar Grand. He even did a cameo in the Oscar-nominated Hollywood movie Blood Diamond.

Deeya Chopra As Cadet Vidya Saxena

Deeya played Cadet Vidya Saxena and we were charmed by her screen presence and acting skills. She was last seen as Ria in Mrs Kaushik Ki Paanch Bahuein and has been out of the limelight ever since. 

Vikas Manaktala As Cadet Amardeep Huda

Vikas Manaktala was a model before he made his television debut as Cadet Amardeep Huda. He has also won the title of Mr India and has been the face of various fashion campaigns. The actor is currently portraying the role of Raja Gangadhar Rao in Colors TV’s historical drama Khoob Ladi Mardaani… Jhansi Ki Rani.
