Thanks to the recent bridal fashion trends, we saw some variation in cuts and design patterns pertaining to bridal wear. Think flirty ruffled gowns and feathered pallus, we loved it all. And not just runways, real brides too flaunted these avant-garde bridal fashion trends which so much élan. You’ve got to see them to believe us…. Take a look.
1. A feather affair!
Kripa Mehta (Alia Bhatt’s BFF) looked stunning at her sangeet in this gorgeous beige and gold Falguni and Shane Peacock lehenga. Up until now, we’d never have imagined feathers on bridal wear; but this outfit made us sit up and take notice..
2. A flirty cocktail gown

Bride Taran opted for a stunning gown for her cocktail function and looked nothing short of a real-life mermaid. Right from the curve flattering fish cut to the ruffled hem, we loved it all.
3. Feather dupattas
Feathers have appeared on dupattas too, and we think this is going to be a major trend this wedding season. Bride Simran Sugadh looked straight out of a fairy tale in this gorgeous pink Suneet Varma lehenga which makes for quite a cool reception outfit.
4. The ruffle trail
Doesn’t this bride look like a modern-day Disney princess? The beautiful copper tone of the ruffled gown is great choice for when you want to show off your curves, without having to wear an OTT outfit.
5. Ruffle it up!
Astha Jagwani’s soft pink ruffled lehenga- gown is what dreams are made of! The bride wore this gorgeous Gaurav Gupta creation for her engagement and boy, did she look good!
6. Of feathers and shimmers
Samantha Prabhu was a sight to behold in this gorgeous Falguni & Shane Peacock feather gown. Definitely not a look for the faint hearted, but would be an awesome choice for a bride who wants to experiment with her wedding outfit.
7. Twirl in ruffles
Whether you want to look beautiful in those bridal twirl shots or want to channel a diva look, this lehenga can help you achieve anything — from Princess to Goddess. We love how the shimmer on the blouse contrasts with the ruffles on the hem. Definitely, our favourite from the list.
8. Ruffled pallus
A pristine white ruffled pallu with an off-shoulder top makes for such a hatke mehendi outfit. We loved the striped t-shirt style blouse and of course, the gorgeous ruffled pallu. Opt for some statement earrings and minimal make-up, and you’ll be ready to stun.
