Before quarantine (BQ), our second favourite part about coming back to home was comfy pyjamas. First being taking off the bra, duh! It made sense then because a major part of our everyday life involved dressing up for work. But now that pyjamas are all that we are wearing 24*7, even while working from home, it’s getting kinda boring. Dull and sad, TBH! Some of us have been in quarantine for about three weeks now! Our style clock was bound to run-out.
Enter *surprise surprise* Bollywood celebs! What started as a bunch of handwashing videos in cute pyjamas and chic loungewear has turned to casual dresses as summer knocks on our door. Celebrities are doing mini photoshoots in their gardens and on their porch sporting pretty prints and patterns, and we can’t help but want to change out of our jammies.
Bollywood Celebrities Livin’ It Up In Quarantine
Now that celebs have started making way to their summer wardrobe, how about you do it too? Check out the latest looks of these seven B-town celebs for some inspiration. Pyjamas and gym clothes have been replaced for some summer cheer!
Disha Patani
Disha Patani’s white and blue printed dress with cute ruffle trims and a tie-up back design is exactly what I need to feel alive again and I bet you do too! Pro tip: a dash of highlighter and minimal accessories will definitely get you there, dress or no dress. Let the 5 pm sunset take care of the rest!
Ameesha Patel
Ameesha Patel has been spreading some positive vibes from her balcony with her cheerful videos every day. And her parrot green jersey playsuit sure looks like an outfit to make you feel positive inside out. Green can do that to you. Are you taking notes?
Sussanne Khan
Sussanne Khan’s WFH-outfit goes damn well with her “temporary home work space” courtesy the semi-formal checked pattern on a casual strappy jumpsuit. Raid your closet, find anything you have in checks or plaid or tartan, and wear it to your next WFH day.
Mouni Roy
Here’s a summer dress that has your name written all over it. This blue and white halterneck maxi with a gorgeous print is what I’m repeating all season! With flats, with sandals, with white sneakers, and pretty much everything! Imagine what a great quarantine partner a dress like this can be! Search your closet and find ‘The One’ for you.
Soha Ali Khan
I cannot stress enough on how effortless and easy-breezy is the salwar and kurta combination. Soha Ali Khan’s floral printed pink and off-white set looks like something that both you and your mom would love to share. So, why don’t you? Run to your mom’s closet now!
Athiya Shetty
I finally know why baggy jeans are still a thing in 2020–so I can wear jeans at home without letting the denim blues get to me. Athiya Shetty’s style of pairing them with a cropped striped wrap top at home is so relatable! I’m sure you can find something like this in your wardrobe.
Ananya Panday
Ananya Panday’s claim on LBDs in the house is something we all can get on board with, especially now. Advantage, (a) you won’t be able to stop taking selfies, and (b) it’ll feel like a party, hotty! Do you need more reasons to wear a little black dress at home?
So go, get on with it! Dress-up a little just like your fave celebs and live the remaining days of your quarantine life stylishly and comfortably.
