Time’s Up is a powerful initiative taken by women in Hollywood attending the Golden Globes, they stood against silence, against sexual harassment and against abuse at the workplace. With worldwide donations pouring in, a $13-million legal defence fund was set up to support lower-income women seeking justice for the rampant sexual harassment and assault in the workplace.
When was the last time Bollywood stood together as an industry to fight against an issue? Forget the award show aspect of it, since obviously, our award shows are anything but honest. Basically meant to provide an ego boost for the stars who attend, maybe that’s where we should start?
