Here Are All The B’Wood Bridal Outfits From 2023, So You Can Take Inspiration For Next Year
The last few years have been about Bollywood weddings, and like the people involved, they look particularly filmy. We love it. We love all of it – but we also enjoy browsing through the looks. For instance, all Bollywood weddings looked like a perfect blend of fashion, culture and sentiments. The brides especially left us with some great style and inspiration – with a lot of range, I must add. So there was something for everyone, to draw reference from.
In case you missed these outfits, here are all the wedding dresses from 2023:
1. Kiara Advani
Kiara started the pastel weddings this year and we have no complaints. Her light pink lehenga was designed by Manish Malhotra and the jewelery definitely added the perfect contrast to the look. The silver work was something refreshing to look at, and it apparently took 200 artisans to make this happen.
2. Parineeti Chopra
Parineeti Chopra’s veil definitely caught our attention, but her lehenga was a beautiful piece of work. Hand-embroidered with gold threads, this Manish Malhotra design took 2500 hours to make and also featured metal sequins. The colour was especially new and we loved it.
3. Athiya Shetty
The subtle pink wedding lehenga that Athiya Shetty dorned was another inspiration for the pastel palette. A work of jaal and zardosi, the dress was a work of Anamika Khanna. It also felt like the perfect choice for a day wedding and certainly looked great on the actor.
4. Lin Laishram
Lin wore the Potloi for her wedding ceremony, which is a traditional Manipuri outfit. Designed by Pritam Moirangthem, the attire introduced a lot of us to Manipuri Potloi – something that should have happened sooner. Like the wedding dress, the ceremony was beautiful to look at.
5. Swara Bhasker
Swara Bhasker married political activist Fahad Ahmad in an intimate ceremony at first, that’s when they registered the wedding. The actor shared that she wore her mother’s saree and jewelry on the day, and it felt like a nice sentiment. Of course the dark red saree looked like the perfect outfit.
6. Masaba Gupta
Masaba dorned a barfi-pink lehenga for her wedding with Satyadeep Misra. With a contrasting green dupatta, the raw silk attire had an overall gold embroidery on it. The lehenga was by House of Masaba, and it evidently held a special place in more ways than one.
That said, you can never go wrong with a wedding outfit. It’s who you are, after all.
