Skin Feeling A Li’l Blue? Try A Blueberry Face Mask For A Whiff Of Freshness & Radiance!

Fruits masks are just so amazing. And delicious to look and feel! You can literally cut a fruit, mash it and apply it to your face for an instant dose of freshness. Not to mention how tempting they are to eat. Perfect for this hot weather, right? Fruits are rich in powerful antioxidants, fibres, vitamin C, and a few anti-ageing agents that make them an ideal (and natural) ingredient in face packs. No matter what your skin woe may be, there’s nothing a dedicated fruit can’t help you with. In short, they’re good for you both on the inside and the outside.

Today’s superfruit is blueberries! This extremely juicy-licious fruit is not only a top favourite when it comes to desserts. We also love putting it on our faces as much as in our mouths. And don’t forget that awesome delicate fragrance they leave behind, ah!

Blueberry Masks For Radiant Skin

Blueberries are really tasty but unfortunately, they are a rare find in our country. Even if they are available in markets, they can be super expensive to buy. But don’t worry as they are easily (and affordably) available online to consume and/or to whip up tasty DIY blueberry face masks at home! Here’s how to go about it:

You’ll need:

– Fresh blueberries

– Fresh aloe vera gel

– 1 tbsp. honey

– A bowl

Step 1: In a bowl, add a handful of blueberries and mash them properly.

Step 2: Add 1 tbsp. of fresh aloe vera gel and give a nice whisk to the mixture.

Step 3: Now add the honey and mix well until you get a fine puree.

Apply this face mask once a week to boost your skin’s natural radiance. The best part? It’s suitable for all skin types! Avoid if you are allergic.

You can also prepare a simpler blueberry mask with just a handful of blueberries and rosewater or by mixing blueberries to an all-fruit mask including other fruits such as mangoes, strawberries, or lemon. Sounds delicious, doesn’t it?

Benefits Of A Blueberry Mask For Skin

As mentioned earlier, blueberries are superfruits and amazing for our skin. Here’s some evidence to support that claim:
