Blogger Reveals How She Convinced Her Parents For Love Marriage & It’s Heartwarming

Don’t you love to read stories about couples who fight against all odds to get their happily ever after? We certainly do and a recent one has us convinced that true love conquers all.

Beauty blogger and content creator, Valine Punamia aka Pretty Funny Space took to her Instagram to share a heartwarming story of how she and her boyfriend, Aditya, convinced their parents to get them married. She revealed that after being in a long-distance relationship for 1.5 years, she decided to tell her parents about her boyfriend. However, she was scared to reveal her relationship as none of their family members had ever had a love marriage before. 

Valine wrote, “We were in a long distance for 1.5 years after which I had to tell my parents about him. We both came from families where no one had seen a love marriage where both the families have agreed upon it. We knew eloping or marrying even if our parents were unhappy was never an option. Surprisingly it took me little to no convincing as they were ready to meet him. There was some hiccup from Aditya’s end. We did breakdown many times when we couldn’t take it anymore but that 1% hope kept us going & here we are. It all fell into place when both the families met & loved each other’s culture & upbringing……”

A while back, Valine also shared a proposal video. And guess what? It was Valine who threw a surprise proposal for her boyfriend Aditya. How adorable is that?!
