Be it making heads turn with her glamm appearances at fashion extravaganzas or flaunting some of her most exquisite possessions, Isha Ambani has been making headlines.
Being the only daughter of Asia’s richest man, it kinda makes sense for the billionaire heiress to own some of the most exclusive accessories from around the world. The best part? Apart from being a business tycoon, the desi diva surely knows her fashion game well. Her recent Met Gala look is proof!
Along with Isha’s diamonds and crystals studded Prabal Gurung ensemble with a saree trail, what grabbed eyeballs was her Chanel Matryoshka runway doll bag. To pay homage to the legacy of Karl Lagerfeld, Isha carried one of his creations for the Chanel Paris-Bombay 2012 collection on the red carpet. And while every inch of my soul wanted to own the bag, the fact that it retails for a whopping amount of *hold a chair* 24 lakhs gave me a reality check. However, queen of DIY, Shweta Mahadik came to our rescue and did what we couldn’t possibly imagine.
Shweta recently shared a reel where she put all our exceptional skills to recreate the much-talked-about Chanel doll bag, that too for just Rs. 240!! Sounds pretty crazy, right? Here, take a look:
If this doesn’t scream talent in 10 different languages, I don’t know what does! After Shweta’s recreation of Gigi Hadid’s saree, this doll bag has become my second fave of her works.
All About The Limited Edition Chanel Doll Bag!
Chanel runway bags have long been situated at the top of collectors’ wishlists, but no other examples are more fiercely desired than the elaborate Matryoshka Dolls. It was showcased at the Paris-Bombay Collection. It is composed of a sturdy black lucite body adorned with chains, pearls, crystals, and an enamel Camelia flower. The face of the Paris-Bombay Doll features a crystal bindi and a classic Chanel chain at the top of the head. The tasselled CC at the doll’s chest turns to open the bag.
BRB, going to take cues from Shweta to recreate a similar one for myself!
