If you happen to be a loyal Bigg Boss fan then you’d know that each season, makers try really hard to brew a love story in the house. Compatible couples are thrown together, made to do tasks that make them come closer, and sometimes even dates are organised within the house to catalyse potential romances. However, we truly believe that Bigg Boss romances are overrated and sometimes fake too! In fact, in the past few seasons, it is the BB friendships that have entertained us way more than romantic jodis and emerged as the real MVPs. Don’t follow? We bring you seven epic Bigg Boss duos to prove our point.
Rahul Vaidya & Aly Goni
There wasn’t one single moment when Aly Goni and Rahul Vaidya even considered going against each other during their Bigg Boss 14 journey. Throughout the season, the two backed each other, supported each other emotionally, and even made selfless sacrifices. From playing pranks on the other housemates to crying for their best friend, the two gave us some really adorable dosti moments. Interestingly, their friendship blossomed despite Rahul Vaidya and Jasmin Bhasin’s complicated equation in the house. In fact, Aly Goni had entered the house only to support her after a rather violent altercation with Rahul. Rest assured, the fans surely loved watching these two as BB BFFs and they continue to bond even after the season’s finale.
Rubina Dilaik & Nikki Tamboli
This was one of the most unexpected friendships of Bigg Boss 14. Both Nikki Tamboli and Rubina Dilaik weren’t exactly fond of each other at the beginning of the season and kept a distance from each other. However, post Nikki’s exit during the first finale and then her re-entry into the show, the two tried to understand each other and struck a beautiful bond. By the end of the season, they were the best of friends and helped each other enter the finale week. They are still going strong after the season’s conclusion and continue hanging out and commenting on each other’s social media posts.
Devoleena Bhattacharjee and Rashami Desai
Bigg Boss 13 was an emotional roller coaster for both Devoleena and Rashami Desai as the two kept struggling with their health and personal issues. Throughout it all, the two supported each other emotionally. From waging a war against Siddarth Shukla’s constant bullying to guiding each other every time one of them went astray, the two gave us dosti goals throughout the season. Had it not been for Devoleena’s unexpected exit owing to her back injury, we are sure that the two would have easily made it to the season finale hand in hand.
Paras Chhabra & Mahira Sharma
Okay, this was a complicated friendship for a lot of reasons, the presence of a romantic angle reigning numero uno on the list. However, both Paras and Mahira who are still great “friends” continue to deny that to date. Throughout season 13, the two remained rather tight, never letting anyone come between their bond, and also steered each other’s journey towards the end of the show. Seriously, no one had expected that Paras and Mahira would actually make it to the last month of BB 13 and they made it happen with their beautiful friendship intact.
Sidharth Shukla & Arrti Singh
While Sidharth might have made a lot of friends (and enemies) during Bigg Boss 13, it was always Arrti Singh that he turned to when the actor needed some sane advice. The two were friends even before entering the Bigg Boss house and got closer during the season. Arrti helped the impulsive, aggressive Sidharth with some emotional support and good advice, something that did not sit well with his competitors. It came to a point when Sid’s friend turned foe Asim Riaz ended up calling Arrti Sid’s “fixed deposit” which obviously did not go down well with him and culminated into a huge fight.
Hina Khan & Luv Tyagi
With a mix of both commoners and celebrity guests, Bigg Boss season 11 was all fireworks. And while the celebs might have mostly maintained a distance from the commoners, we saw the lines blurring with Hina Khan and Luv Tyagi’s unconditional friendship. Now, the housemates did think that Luv had feelings for Hina and that’s why supported her and even fought for her on multiple occasions. Regardless of that, it was a rather unique bond that we absolutely shipped and it is heartwarming to know that the two continued to bond even after exiting the house.
P3G
Okay so this one is less of a jodi and more of a “squad” and they also have a name–P3G! Well, if you have followed all the Bigg Boss seasons to date, the mind would automatically go to a rather tight group of four fun people who helmed the entire Bigg Boss 8. The P3G squad consisted of Gautam Gulati, Puneet Issar, Pritam Singh, and Praneet Bhatt. There wasn’t a single episode when they failed to give us some rather heartwarming moments along with their chant, ‘Boys, boys, boys’ that became a definite hit among the audience.
So fam, which one of these Bigg Boss dostis did you ship the most?
