Honestly, when the makers said that everything about this season was going to be OTT, we thought they were talking about the game. But, probably they meant the OTT cringe we feel when KJo asks for the actress’s opinions on every matter and showers her with sweet endearments. All of that, while treating the remaining gharwalas like some serious offenders. And, what is it with him completing Shamita’s statements like BFFs? Jeez, calm down, will ya?

Bani J (Season 10)

In season 10, every Weekend Ka Vaar episode started with Salman complimenting Bani J and ended with him ignoring all the wrong things she did throughout the week. She could lie blatantly, abuse, even talk rudely to the host himself, but the Sultan actor conveniently ignored all of it. Reason? Nothing. Absolutely, nothing!

Rakhi Sawant (Season 14)

From creating ‘I Hate Rubina Club’ to supporting Rakhi Sawant like she was a flawless angel, bhai did it all and made little to no efforts to hide it. He even justified when the actress pulled Abhinav Shukla’s short’s strings and Rahul Mahajan’s towel. Honestly, we understand favouritism, but even with his standards ye thoda zyada ho gaya.

Tanishaa Mukerji (Season 7)

Would you believe us if we told you that there was a time when Salman was a neutral host? Yes, it’s true. Until season 6, he used to refrain from giving his opinions and being the judge and jury of the show. But, in season 7, he decided to be the executioner as well and the reason was obvious—Tanishaa Mukerji. Kajol’s sister was supported by the host despite the mistakes she made. On the other hand, all hell used to break loose whenever Kushal Tandon as much as pointed a finger towards her.

Shilpa Shinde (Season 11)

Not only her mistakes were ignored, but she was also appreciated for all the hard work she did in the kitchen. Honestly, Shilpa Shinde was not just Salman’s favourite, but also of the makers. They legit made an entire video clip to show how many rotis the actress had made in the house. TBH, it doesn’t matter whether it’s a reality show or daily soap because makers love to promote an image of a docile bahu.

Sidharth Shukla

His slangs? Ignored. His disrespect for the house rules? Ignored. His aggression towards Asim Riaz, Rashami Desai, Arhaan Khan and Mahira Sharma? Ignored. In fact, as per the host, other housemates should have maintained a distance from Sidharth Shukla because, well, he’s strong. Wow. Just, wow!

He spat on other contestants. Do we need to say more? We don’t and the host didn’t either. He ignored the cricketer’s offensive acts because apparently, he was ‘triggered’ all the time.
