Bigg Boss 16 Weekend Ka Vaar Live Updates: Gautam Continues To Face The Heat As Members Go On A Hunger Strike

The house has capsized — onto newly-elected controversy’s child Gautam Vig. Sajid Khan vowed to haunt Vig for the rest of the week for sacrificing all of their ration in exchange for a shot at captaincy; while Archana made her presence very known after Vig announced his decision before all the housemates (some of whom (Nimrit) had been hangry since morning). With Soundarya trying to fix things for beau Gautam throughout the lip-biting episode, things were left on a low-energy note by the end of the night. One thing’s for sure — no one’s letting go of Gautam’s faux pas any time soon. How will he redeem himself tonight, and will the members forgive him?

Sleep-stricken housemates are awoken by Bigg Boss’ anthem. Abdu craves some tea — Shiv recalls yesterday’s dilemma, and tells Abdu how everything is ‘barbaad’ all because of Gautam’s captaincy.

Sajid asks Gautam to ‘get out of his face’, and to “stay away from him”. In response to inquiries about his medication, he says, “I don’t need anyone’s sympathy.”

Bigg Boss returns one day’s ration to the house, and asks Gautam to decide how to divide it for the rest of the week. Soundarya approach Sajid to fix things between him and Gautam. “Tell him to stay away from me,” Sajid tells Soundarya.

Soundarya accuses Nimrit and Tina of having an ‘agenda’. Nimrit tells her she cannot stand up for herself, and depends on a man for support.

Soundarya and Gautam discuss how to divide the food for the day. Shalin requests Bigg Boss for some more food to sustain himself. “12 eggs are not enough for me,” he says.

Soundarya gives Sajid his medication, and asks him not to self-sabotage. Nimrit tells Sajid that Gautam isn’t trying to consult anyone for the division of the ration.

Sajid contemplates a ‘hunger strike’ with Shiv.

Priyanka thinks Shalin’s dietary requirements will deprive others of the ration. The two’s disagreement spirals into a full-fledged fight, and members start blaming Gautam for not consulting or involving anyone in the decision-making process.

“I don’t need any spokesperson,” Gautam tells Nimrit after she accuses him of depending on Soundarya for everything.

“I expected you as a captain to discuss the division of the food with everyone,” Shiv tells Gautam.

“If Priyanka spoke to me the way she did to you, I wouldn’t be able to keep my cool. I don’t know how you did,” Tina tells Shaleen. Shaleen explains that he held back because she’s a girl.

Shiv and Sajid go on a hunger strike. “I won’t eat one morsel,” Shiv announces boldly.

Bigg Boss summons Shaleen to the confession room, and talks about how everyone perceives him as fake. BB also talks about Shalin’s reaction to Gautam getting evicted, and asks everyone whose reaction was the most genuine and vice-versa. Nimrit talks about how Shaleen’s reaction was not right. Everyone agrees that Sajid and Archana’s reaction was honest. Gautam himself felt like his reaction was fake.

Bigg Boss grants Shaleen his dietary requirements on ‘humanitarian’ grounds. Shaleen asks Bigg Boss whether the amount of food is enough to cover both the meals, and Bigg Boss lets him know that they’re very well aware of everyone’s needs and requirements.

“He only cares about his chicken,” MC Stan takes a jab at Shalin.

Members ask Abdu to eat some food but he refuses because Sajid and Shiv aren’t eating either.

Shaleen lets Gautam know that they’re through. “I was showing you some courtesy because you were leaving,” Shalin clarifies.

Soundarya and Gautam discuss Sajid’s hunger strike. Priyanka asks Soundarya why she’s doing all the work when Gautam can easily assign duties to everyone.

“He (Gautam) should have apologized to everyone last night; but he only apologized to Bigg Boss,” Sajid says.

Gautam finally allots tasks to the members. Shiv says he’s not going to do any of it. Sajid challenges Gautam to a fight.

“I care about Sajid. I asked everyone to give him food before anyone else,” Gautam tells Priyanka as tries to calm the tensions between him and Sajid without any success.

“Food is not the issue — it’s the betrayal,” Ankit tells Sajid.

Bigg Boss asks Sajid and Nimrit to come to the confession room, and asks them why they’re so triggered by Gautam. “That man stole our food not for a shot at captaincy but to save himself from eviction,” says Sajid. Nimrit says Gautam’s reason to become captain — to prove that his relationship is real — doesn’t make sense. Bigg Boss asks them to terminate their strike, and offers boxes of pizza to binge on — along with buckets of daal for the housemates to segregate with the goal of making Gautam realise what he has done. The members cannot know that they have eaten.

Gautam attempts are reconciling with Shalin; but his attempts are futile.

Sajid and Gautam try to resolve their issues. “I really respect you. I myself haven’t eaten anything since morning.” Other members continue binging on pizza without Gautam’s knowledge while the two talk.

“If you’re eating, I’ll eat. If not, we’ll crash.” Soundarya tells Gautam. Bigg Boss reprimands Soundarya and Gautam for conversing in English.

Bigg Boss calls Abdu, Sajid, Nimrit, and MC Stan to the confession room. The four start devouring pizzas and drinks. “Eat less. We have to pretend we’re on strike outside,” Sajid tells Abdu.

Archana, Tina, and Shaleen still think Abdu’s on a hunger-strike.

Bigg Boss informs everyone that their ration will be returned. No one needs to go a strike anymore, and everyone will have to earn their portions based on their performance.
