The B in Beyonce definitely stands for bold, beautiful and badass!
The singer recently kicked off her “Renaissance” world tour in Sweden, and her outfits are just as killer as her songs. From her incredible setlist to the dance-inspired stage design, every aspect of her show-stopping performance has left us mesmerized. But her outfits deserve a special mention. Styled by Shiona Turini, Queen Bey is changing costumes like no one’s business!
Kickstarting With Shimmer!
Beyonce began her tour in a black metallic bodysuit from Alexander McQueen‘s 2023 collection. The bodysuit was adorned with silver bugle beads and crystal anatomical embroidery.
Hail The Holographic!
Beyonce had the audience hooked in a holographic David Koma look from their Spring 2023 runway, featuring thigh-high boots with an iridescent shine.
A Hands-On Bodysuit
The singer wore a dazzling Loewe bodysuit inspired by the iconic glove-print dress from the Fall 2022 collection. She teamed the look with matching gloves that came with nail attachments!
A Whole Lotta Silver
It was raining silver when Beyonce twinned with her background dancers in a silver bodysuit that was custom-made by the brand Courrèges.
Going Robotic
Beyonce embraced robotic couture in a custom Mugler costume. It was inspired by their Fall 1995 collection’s robot costume, which was acknowledged as futuristic design back then!
Queen Bee
Beyonce took her title of “Queen Bey” way too seriously as she performed dressed as a Bee in another custom-made Mugler costume.
Twinning With The Sparkly Horse
Beyonce levitated on the stage in a custom silver bodysuit by Coperni. She twinned with the sparkling horse on stage and styled her look with matching gloves.
Pearls, But Make It Sexy!
Beyonce gave us major lessons on how to make elegant pearls look sexy in a custom Balmain getup. She paired the bodysuit with a hat and sunglasses.
The Outfit That Transformed!
Beyonce’s most show-stopping look from the tour has to be her white bell-sleeved Anrealage coat that when exposed to UV light, turned into a kaleidoscope of colours. This was the handiwork of Tokyo designer Kunihiko Morinaga, who used photosensitive fabrics and materials that change colour when exposed to UV rays. Iconic!
Well, this is proof of why there can never be another Beyonce. All hail Queen Bey!
