It’s that time of the year when all our favourite Bollywood celebrities razzle and dazzle us with their outfits and performances and get awarded for their movies. The International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2019were held in Mumbai last night and this year’s theme was Homecoming.
It’s not just to know who’s is winning what, we tune in to the IIFA Awards now, is it? We’re always here for the outfits. The good, the bad and some downright ugly!
Here’s A Peek At Some Of The Best-Dressed (And Worst) Dressed Celebrities
Alia Bhatt
Alia Bhatt played it safe in this blush pink Georges Chakra outfit, but she looked absolutely stunning, definitely topping our charts. That flowy gown, the fishtail braid and her dewy skin had our hearts.
Vicky Kaushal
Vicky Kaushal looked great in his all-black Nauman Piyarji ensemble, stealing our hearts one smile at a time.
Aditi Rao Hyadri
Aditi killed it at the red carpet with this black and silver embellished gown by Falguni Shane Peacock. She paired the stunning outfit with a brown smokey eye and loose, beachy curly hair.
Genelia Deshmukh
Genelia picked this pretty pistachio green Manish Malhotra gown with floral embroidery and a high slit. While I’m not a fan of the outfit, I can’t help but say that sometimes a smile can be your best accessory!
Sara Ali Khan
Sara Ali Khan wore a white, floral off-shoulder Gaurav Gupta gown and she looked absolutely adorable. She paired the look with a minimal makeup look and a sleek updo. Her makeup is just perfect! Minimal yet classy.
Swara Bhaskar
Swara wore a white Avaro Figlio gown that did nothing to impress her silhouette. We love you Swara but this outfit and the makeup was a total miss.
Madhuri Dixit Nene
Madhuri looked radiant in this Tanieya Khanuja red gown. She paired it with matte skin, a winged eye and bold, red lipstick. Now, that’s classic Madhuri.
Urvashi Rautela
Sorry, Urvashi. We weren’t feeling this outfit. What is that? Feathers? Frills? Flowers?
Radhika Apte
We love Radhika’s edgy fashion choices but her white Gucci ruffled gown and those metallic green lids just didn’t make the cut.
Preity Zinta
Preity always plays it safe, but her gold Gauri and Nainika gown to this year’s IIFA Awards just didn’t sit right. The entire ensemble looked a little like a blast from the past.
Karan Johar
Karan Johar wearing an all-black Gaurav Gupta suit that looks like an outfit straight out of the GoT set, am I right?
What do you think? What were your favourite looks from the IIFA Awards this year?
