Beauty Breakdown: Products The Paris 2024 Olympians Used

The Paris Olympics may be over, but I’m not getting over it anytime soon. This year’s event was jam-packed – from the gymnasts landing on their feet to pole vaulters’ you-know-what coming (👀) in the way of them winning. All of it was legendary!

Sure, I can’t even dream of being an Olympian myself. The diet, their routines, and the sheer dedication they have towards their sport are not for the faint-hearted. No, you won’t find me waking up at 5 am just because I’m motivated, but there is one thing I can do – cop their beauty routines!

Hydrating lip balms to gripping primers, foundations and hairsprays kept them looking good even when they were sweating out. And you know that’s the ultimate test of any makeup product!

Best Of The Best Products The Paris Olympians Swear By

Simone Biles

The American gymnast who won a whopping 4 medals at the Paris Olympics, looked flawless throughout the season. But she didn’t gatekeep. Shutterbugs snapped her touching up her makeup with the Fenty Beauty Invisimatte Instant Setting and Blotting Powder. She lined her lips with the NYX Professional Makeup lip pencil and used the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Foundation for that perfect base. She also revealed that her lips are allergic to most products and the Laneige lip balm suited her best.

For those perfectly arched brows, the Benefit Cosmetics Precisely My Brow Pencil was her go-to.

Suni Lee

Sunisa Lee, who took 4 medals back to the USA at the Paris Olympics 2024, was photographed carrying the Rhode phone case while touching up her lipstick. Olympians, they’re just like us! She also uses the Make Up Forever lipliner.

For foundation that doesn’t move no matter what, Lee used the L’Oreal Paris Infallible 3-Second Setting Spray.

Chioma Onyekwere Lyons

The Nigerian track and field athlete wore a simple skin tint that was sweat-proof and even made by an athlete! She wore the WYN Beauty Featuring You Hydrating Skin Tint for her throw event at the games in Paris.

Ami Yuasa

The Japanese break-dancer who took home an Olympic gold this year has openly spoken about how much she loves makeup because of the confidence it gives her. Her go-to? MAC lipsticks because they last so long and don’t need to be reapplied regularly.

Jordan Chiles

She may have been stripped of her bronze, but she’s still got a gold to take home with her! The athlete who revealed her Beauty Secrets to Vogue, said that the secret to her sculpted face is the Fenty Beauty Stun Stalk’r Instant Warmth Bronzer.

Also the first person who actively spritzed herself with perfume, she applied the Burberry Goddess all over to keep her smelling as good as she was looking.

Kaylia Nemour

Gymnasts seem to have it all covered in the makeup space! The Algerian artistic gymnast who took home a gold medal showed off her routine on TikTok. And the key to her makeup staying intact? The Milk Makeup Hydro Grip Primer.

Ilona Maher

The ruby star who’s winning hearts on both, the field and the internet, is known for her bright red lipstick she calls “war paint”. The Maybelline New York Super Stay Matte Ink Liquid Lipstick stays put during the roughest of matches and needs no reapplication. Drugstore products for the win? She told Allure that while she plays a spot that’s supposedly “manly”, “I wear makeup [on the pitch] to give a big ‘eff you’ to having to sacrifice my femininity.”

Maher swears by the Glossier Boy Brow to keep her looking put-together even on the field. Her current favourite fragrance? The Gucci Flora.

Athletes who are also beauty girls? Yes, please! It’s the only regimen I can even think of picking up from them.
