Avneet Kaur Gets Trolled For Dressing “Inappropriately” For Her Age & It’s Ridiculous

Trolling has unfortunately become a common phenomenon in Bollywood. Whether you’re a veteran or a newbie, escaping the wrath of the trolls has almost become impossible. Recently, debutante Avneet Kaur became the internet’s latest victim. The 21-year-old is all set to share screen space with Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Tiku Weds Sheru. After being chastised for their “controversial” kissing scene, now the actress is being mocked for her fashion choices. 

Recently, the young actress stepped out in the city to promote her film. She was seen wearing a body-hugging, mini-black dress that featured an asymmetrical silhouette. The sultry dress had ruffle detailing and a halter neckline. Since the outfit was too short, Avneet wore shimmery black tights underneath that were visible from the side. While the diva looked confident and graceful, the internet was not happy with her outfit. 

The internet called the actress out for dressing “inappropriately” for her age and “trying to look older.” One user wrote, “She literally lost her actual self in portraying herself as someone else. She was such a beautiful and cute girl,” and another wrote, “Aaj kal kam age waale log bhi bade dikhne ke chakkar mein lag gaye hai.” (These days, young people are also trying to look older than their age.) 

Not just this, netizens also dragged Uorfi Javed into this and claimed that youngsters are “trying to copy her” and that she is a “bad influence” on the youth. Avneet was accused of losing her innocence by trying to portray herself as someone she is not. Well, can the internet understand that she is clearly not a child anymore? 

Avneet Kaur is a 21-year-old adult who is allowed to make her own decisions and wear what she feels like. We love how, just like her roles, she is experimenting with fashion, and there’s absolutely nothing wrong with that. You do you, Avneet!
