You’ll Never Believe What Athiya Shetty Uses To Take Off Her Makeup!

Athiya Shetty is a goldmine for affordable and effective beauty tips. Even though she does indulge in luxury products and treatments every now and then, some of her best tips come straight from your local chemist.

While disclosing her prized beauty secrets in a tête-à-tête, Athiya spoke about her preferred method of taking off makeup and she then went on and dropped the names of the exact pharmacy beauty products she uses for the same.

Athiya Shetty’s Pharmacy Products For Removing Makeup

In an interview, Athiya was asked about her skincare routine and she revealed that she actually uses two very common and beloved products that are found at any local pharmacy. She said, “I use baby oil to remove my makeup and Pears soap. That’s the only thing that works on my skin, because I have sensitive skin. I like the soap because it makes me feel squeaky clean.”

Both, Johnson’s Baby Oil and Pears Soap are a part of most of our core memories because these were probably the first ever products introduced to us as kids and still remain fan favourites even today!

Benefits Of Athiya Shetty’s Favourite Pharmacy Products

The first pharmacy product on Athiya’s list is Johnson’s Baby Oil and yes, adults love using this product too. Even professional MUAs swear by it to take off makeup because it is infused with vitamin E and it is extremely gentle on the skin as it is literally made for the sensitive skin of babies. This baby oil effectively melts makeup like any other oil-based makeup remover. Your waterproof mascara and lipsticks don’t stand a chance against this.

Pears Soap, on the other hand, is Athiya’s choice of cleanser post wiping off her makeup with baby oil. Despite it being a soap, it is super gentle on the skin since it’s formulated with glycerine and natural oils and is paraben-free. It keeps the skin squeaky clean and hydrated without causing any irritation or dryness.

Pro Tip: Don’t forget to moisturise your skin after taking off your makeup; Athiya never skips this step either. One of the best moisturisers that soothes and hydrates my skin with all natural ingredients and a refreshing formula is the Manish Malhotra Cinnamon Ginger Night Gel.

I think Athiya Shetty’s double cleansing routine with pharmacy products is such good advice because it is easily accessible and affordable, I never need to worry about restocking on expensive makeup removers anymore.
