Arjun Kapoor & Janhvi Kapoor Get Real About Their Relationship & It’s Making Us Emo AF!

While some actors in Bollywood try to keep their personal life hush-hush, there are others who don’t shy away from being honest and real. No brownie points for guessing that Arjun Kapoor belongs to the latter category and it’s one of the major reasons why fans love him. Whether it’s talking about his tough childhood, his patch-up with his father or his relationship with Malaika Arora, the actor has never hesitated before talking his heart out. Now, he has opened up about his equation with his sister Janhvi Kapoor, and NGL, it’s making us super emotional.

Remember when the actress and Arjun had appeared on Koffee With Karan (KWK) season 6 together? We loved how they were goofing around and being supportive of each other. Well, things were not always the same and the Ki & Ka actor opened up about it recently.

While talking to a leading publication, Arjun said that he shared a very formal bond with Janhvi and Khushi Kapoor before veteran actress Sridevi’s death. He said, “There were silences. We would meet, but there was no communication worth quantifying.” The Gunjan Saxena: The Kargil Girl actress added that she has learnedt a lot from her close ones. She said, “I have learnt so much from my family. We have the same father, we have the same blood.” To which, her brother cheekily replied, “Glad you caught onto that.”

Arjun had previously opened up about when and what changed his equation with his sisters. During his appearance on KWK, the Gunday actor said that Anshula Kapoor and he had decided to always support Janhvi and Khushi after they lost their mother. He said, “I still remember, it was two or three in the morning, she (Anshula) had no idea and I called her and the first thing she said was ‘where are the girls?’. That is when I knew that I am going to be there for Janhvi and Khushi till the best of my capacity, as long as I can be.”

Meanwhile, Janhvi revealed that while they do not know every little detail about each other’s lives, they’re always there for one another. She said, “I wake up every day knowing that they always have my back, no matter what. And I can say this with more conviction about them than anyone else in my life.”

Well, Janhvi and Arjun are definitely one of our absolute fave sibling duos in Bollywood. And TBH, we’d love to see them together in a movie soon. That would be something, right?
