Anushka Sharma Makes The Sweetest Promise To Vamika During Their Maldives Vacay & Our Hearts Are Melting

It feels like just yesterday that Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli broke the internet with the announcement of baby Vamika’s arrival. Since then, we have been waiting to catch a glimpse of the little munchkin on the ‘Gram. While the couple has made it a point to avoid sharing a picture of their daughter’s face on any platform, they do share a few snaps from their parenthood journey.

Recently, Anushka and Virat treated themselves to a tropical vacation and we stumbled upon their oh-so-gorg pictures from the trip. Taking to the ‘Gram, the Zero star shared a picture of Vamika’s carrier attached to a bicycle. Along with the photo, the actress wrote a cute note for her baby girl and it reads, “Will carry you through this world and the next and beyond, my life.”

Isn’t this the cutest thing you have seen all day? Anushka is hitting it outta the park as a new mom!

In the last few months, Anushka has been quite vocal about being a working mother and how she balances the two worlds. In a previous interview, she shared, “Striking a work-life balance is certainly harder for women. I don’t think people understand the life and emotions of a working mother, because the world is so male-dominated. Heck, I’m a woman; even I didn’t understand it till I became a mother. Today, I have so much more respect and love for women, and such a strong sense of sisterhood. I’ve always spoken up for women, but to feel love and compassion for the cause makes it so much more powerful.”

The actress added, “I wish women received more support in their workplaces. While I know many men who are kind and empathetic towards women, the work culture itself can be so tough.”
