Anushka Is The Next Big Bollywood Celeb To Launch Her Own Clothing Line

Paris Hilton’s fragrance and cosmetics line, Kylie Jenner’s Kylie Cosmetics, Kim Kardashian’s KKW Beauty and Rihanna’s recent launch Fenty Beauty (which is awesome btw) have already confirmed that the talent of Hollywood’s leading ladies is not confined to one genre. It can effectively make its mark in the beauty industry as well. It was only fair to expect similar things from our leading ladies in Bollywood. And they haven’t disappointed.

Deepika Padukone’s ‘All About You’, Shraddha Kapoor’s co-creation ‘Imara’ and now, Anushka Sharma’s upcoming clothing line in partnership with Suditi Industries, affirms the interest of Indian celebs in the fashion Industry. Anushka has joined the bandwagon as well! What’s better than being able to raid your fave celeb’s wardrobe?

Pawan Agarwal, the chairman of the company had recently revealed that the joint venture involves an investment of about $10 million over the next five years and is in partnership with national, selected regional large format stores and online stores for the sale of the line. The actress’ line will include jackets, T-shirts, dresses and denim wear ranging from Rs 699 to Rs 3,999. With the adding numbers to Anushka’s fan list, we can already picture the ‘out of stock’ sign on online platforms. The collection will hit the display window of stores in the first week of October and Anushka has already given us a glimpse of what’s in store.  

Anushka’s spokesperson shared, “Being an entrepreneur with her own production house Clean Slate Films, Anushka wanted to extend her entrepreneurial ability to a sphere that is close to her heart. Her foray into the business of fashion by launching her women’s wear brand. She is happy to partner with Suditi Industries Limited, an established fashion house running successful brands.”
