Ananya Pandey is currently the most talked about star kid in town. Only a movie old, Ananya has amassed a huge fan following. Fans love her agility and bubbly nature. She’s proved to be a smart millennial in all her interviews overshadowing her co-stars.
Recently, in an interview with a leading daily, the Student Of The Year 2 actress spoke about how one should deal with trolling. She said, “I think you need to take it positively and at the same time, not too seriously because it can get to your head. However, one should know that at the end of the day, you are here to act and that’s what people [actors] should be here for.”

She also spoke about how social media is a blessing and helps connect with the youth. She said, “Today, we have a lot of young people, who have access to our pictures etc. They can directly see what we are up to. Also, I believe getting the youth on your side is extremely important, especially for someone like me since I am also a millennial and that age. That’s why I know that when I look up to someone, I follow them on Instagram, so that way, it’s [following on social media] a good thing.”
About ten days ago, Ananya was all over the tabloids after an ex-classmate of hers claimed that the former faked her admission in the University of South California (USC).
She slammed Ananya’s mother Bhavana Panday for posting about Ananya getting into both NYU and USC.
She didn’t stop at that, the ex-classmate also spilt the tea on the star kid’s dating history.
What got Ananya into trouble was when she herself sent a DM from her official Instagram account to this ex-classmate apologising for whatever happened back in school and asked her to stop calling her out. Netizens saw this as validation but Ananya had better plans.
The actress shut down all the rumours by sharing pictures of her acceptance letter with a long caption on how she was accepted by the university back in 2018 but had to postpone it owing to her Bollywood commitments.
Now that’s a comeback!
She really is pretty capable of handling trolls. We’re learning from you Ananya!
