Anant & Radhika’s Pre-Wedding Festivities Have Begun & Here Are The Grand Outfits Ambani Women Wore
Whenever there’s an Ambani wedding, we can expect our social media feeds to become a temporary archive folder of every teeny-tiny detail from their celebrations. Or forget weddings, this happens to be the case with any event remotely related to Mukesh Ambani and his family. Remember NMACC?
With weddings, what becomes especially alluring to see is the magnificence of the entire affair, from locations to outfits to everything. Last weekend, Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding festivities kickstarted, and well, the outfits bride-to-be and her soon-to-be in-laws wore were all shades of elegance.
The celebrations began with a ‘Lagan Lakhvanu’ ceremony, which marks the first event in Gujarati weddings that involves the creation of the first invite. The festivities were held at Ambani’s farmhouse in Jamnagar. The women at the wedding wore outfits designed by Anamika Khanna. Here’s everything you need to know –
1. Radhika Merchant
The bride-to-be looked exquisite in a custom-made floral lehenga with a peach choli. Her outfit was adorned with floral embellishments and sequin patches, with a dupatta wrapped in a saree-like style. Her accessories, including maang teeka with matching earrings and neckpiece, beautifully complimented her attire.
2. Nita Ambani
The mother-in-law, Nita Ambani, wore a satranga lehenga with aari, zardosi and threadwork and a specially-crafted dupatta, noted the designer Anamika Khanna in her Instagram post. She noted the Gharchola Odhni was a product of Swadesh artisans, who are actively working towards sustaining the age-old craft and preserving timeless handmade traditions. Ambani complimented her outfit with magnificent jewellery and bangles.
3. Isha Ambani
Like her mother, Isha Ambani also wore a custom-made pink-hued lehenga by Anamika Khanna with Gharchola Odhni specially woven by Swadesh artisans.
4. Shloka Ambani
Shloka Ambani wore a pastel ensemble designed by Khanna. The multi-hued floral embroidery and the detailing in the lehenga-choli perfectly radiated the spring mood of the wedding. She paired her outfit with subtle jewellery that complimented her look.
And this was just from the first ceremony. We can only imagine how grand the wedding is going to be.
