Sonam Kapoor’s Reaction To Anand Ahuja’s ‘Romantic’ Gift Is Epic!

Lately, Sonam Kapoor is making headlines everyday for both, her diva-licious style and her wedding. Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja have finally zeroed down on their wedding destination. Instead of London or Switzerland they’ll get married in Kapoor’s hometown, Mumbai. Sonam will tie the knot to her long-time entrepreneur boyfriend Anand Ahuja on May 7 and their wedding preparations are in full swing.

Now that the wedding countdown for the couple has begun, the two are leaving no stone unturned in expressing their love for each other — even on Skype!  

In her latest Instagram story, Sonam is asking Anand, “What is this?” To which Anand says, “A gift for you.” It was a shoe. Sonam reacts to that and asks, “Is this your way of being romantic? By buying me shoes?” To which, Anand replied, “They are amazing.”

That’s one adorable moment every girl can relate to!

According to a Mid-Day report, a hotel near Sahar airport in Mumbai has been booked for the actress’s sangeet ceremony. The Leela is Sonam’s best friend Samyukta Nair’s hotel. A source revealed it to a leading daily, “Yes, the initial plan was to have a destination wedding but it’s because of Sonam’s grandmother that they decided to change the venue and keep it somewhere close to their residence. Sonam’s grand mom can’t travel that far and the family obviously feels her presence is more important than the destination.”

The Raanjhanaa actress will host the mehendi ceremony at her Rs 35 crore luxe-duplex apartment in Sunteck Signature Island building at Bandra Kurla Complex. The apartment is spread over 7,000 square feet and has a beautiful ballroom-like banquet area. Talk about being fancy!  

The wedding will be held at the heritage mansion of Sonam’s aunt Kavita Singh (mother Sunita’s sister) at Bandra Bandstand which is close to Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat. Sonam has started sending her ‘save the date’ invites

Recently, a leading daily reported that the sangeet preparations for the wedding have begun. Karan Johar is definitely performing and Farah Khan is choreographing the event.
