Not SRK, These Are The Real Heroes In Jawan

After the success of Pathaan, Shah Rukh Khan is all set to deliver yet another blockbuster with Jawan. The film’s teaser dropped online at 10:30 am on July 11 and it is a banger. While the prevue was all about SRK’s moments of glory, it appears that Jawan is actually a women-led film. 

Full of action and drama yet so much more than that! The film is features five actresses in pivotal roles and nothing has been revealed so far. Before we talk about the starlets in Jawan, check out its teaser:

This film has dhamaka written all over. Filmmaker Atlee has once again proved that no one does mass cinema better than him. But the most intriguing part of the film is the women of Jawan, let’s talk about them:

Nayanthara 

South’s biggest superstar Nayanthara is an institution in herself! Nothing has been revealed about her part in the film but a little birdie tells us that she is going to take up the role of SRK’s wife. Jawan will mark the debut of Nayanthara in Bollywood and she has been practising her Hindi for it. 

Sanaya Malhotra 

For the longest time, Sanya denied the reports that she was a part of Jawan. But soon the cat was out of the box! In an interview, Sanaya opened up on her part in Jawan and said, “I am excited because I can finally talk about it. Before this, I would give some really weird answers every time I was asked whether I am in Jawan or not. I always hoped to work with SRK one day, so it is a dream come true. I cannot wait to see myself around him… it is a dream role, a dream film. Just to be around him makes me really happy.”

Deepika Padukone

After SRK and Kajol, SRK and Deepika are my second favourite Bollywood pairing. After the massive success of Pathaan, the two are working together once again in Jawan. The reports suggest that DP is in a cameo appearance in the film, but it is an exciting role.

Priyamani

After a killer dance number in Rohit Shetty’s Chennai Express, Priyamani is reuniting with Shah Rukh Khan in Jawan. However, this time she has a much bigger role than just a dance sequel. In a media interaction, the actress said, “He (SRK) is one of the best people, the best co-star I could have ever asked for because I absolutely love that man…I love Shah Rukh Khan” 

Ridhi Dogra 

According to the grapevine, Ridhi Dogra is in a surprise role in Jawan. After working as a telly star for the longest time, the actress made her way to OTT shows like Asur, Badtameez Dil and more. She made her Bollywood debut with Lakadbaggha in 2023 but for her the biggest win was getting a film with Shah Rukh. “I had a life before I shot with Shah Rukh and a life after I shot with him. I cannot tell you about the day I shot with him and how I felt about it! I don’t think I had spoken to him even one per cent of the things that I spoke about him in my life,” revealed Ridhi about the film in an interview.

Can’t wait for September 7, 2023 for Jawan to arrive on the silver screen. It going to be a crazy ride fo sho!
