It’s been almost a year since Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor made their relationship official when they made an appearance together at #SonamKiShaadi. And damn, they looked amazing together! Initially, both Alia and Ranbir were tight-lipped about their newfound love, but now the two are openly talking about their relationship in interviews. From casual dinners to birthday parties, they are often seen bonding with each other’s families.
Recently, Alia and Ranbir rang in the weekend with his cousins, Karisma Kapoor, Aadar Jain and Armaan Jain (sons of Karisma’s aunt Rima Jain). Armaan’s rumoured girlfriend Anissa was also present at the get-together. A sneak peek of the happening Saturday night was shared by Alia on her Instagram account.
Karisma’s bash was an exclusive cousins-only party in Mumbai. The actress shared a group picture and captioned it ‘Cousins’ along with a heart emoticon and tagged the group.
That looks like a warm and fun-filled family gathering, doesn’t it? Lolo was missing Saif and Bebo at the party, who skipped the get-together as they were hosting a party for Saif’s brother-in-law Kunal Kemmu at their home in Bandra. Neha Dhupia and her husband Angad Bedi also dropped in at the birthday bash.
Even though they were divided, the Kapoors sure did their Saturday night right!
Earlier during December 2018, Alia even visited Ranbir’s family in New York, where his father, Rishi Kapoor is undergoing treatment for cancer. She also rang in the New Year with Ranbir’s parents.
After several public appearances together, Ranbir and Alia’s wedding has been the talk of the town. Speaking on the same, the actress cleared all the rumours in an interview, “Marriage is not even in my bandwidth. There’s too much happening in terms of work and life. I’m not saying that I can’t be married and work as well. But I’m really too young. I’ve no plans of getting married right now. That’s it. It has to wait.”
But she doesn’t hold back from praising the Sanju actor. In an earlier interview, Alia said, “Ranbir’s a gem. He’s a supremely simple person. He’s such a nice human being that I wish I was as good as him. As an actor, as a person, as everything. He’s way better a person than I am.”
On the work front, Alia and Ranbir will be seen together in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra, will hit the screens next year. The film also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Nagarjuna Akkineni in pivotal roles. Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt is also currently filming Sadak 2, directed by her father Mahesh Bhatt. The film also stars Pooja Bhatt, Sanjay Dutt and Aditya Roy Kapoor.
