Recently, the rumour mills were buzzing that Alia Bhatt had a fallout with the director if her new film RRR—SS Rajamouli. It was being speculated that she was unhappy with her cameo and limited screen time in the film. She apparently deleted several pics related to the project on her Instagram handle and unfollowed Rajamouli briefly. The actress was also not part of the movie’s promotional events and we wondered if it was because of her busy schedule or tiff.
It turns out that the rumours were indeed baseless and the actress has now dismissed them herself. She took to her social media handle recently and shared the reason for deleting all the posts related to RRR from her ‘Gram. Alia also requested people to not jump to conclusions as she’s on great terms with the makers of the film.
While talking about her now-deleted posts, Alia explained that it’s because of her Instagram feed’s aesthetic. She said, “I sincerely request everyone not to make assumptions based on something as random as an Instagram grid. I ALWAYS realign old video posts from my profile grid because I prefer it to look less cluttered.”
Well, it makes complete sense because one look at Alia’s Insta handle, and one would know that she loves to maintain her feed as per specific colour palettes and themes. She also added that she’s grateful to Rajamouli for making her a part of the movie and wrote, “I am eternally grateful that I got to be a part of the world of RRR. I loved playing Sita, I loved being directed by Rajamouli Sir, I loved working with Tarak and Charan – I loved every single thing about my experience on this film.”
Well, we’re glad that the actress cleared the air and all is well between her and the movie’s team.
After her terrific performance in RRR, we cannot wait to see her in Brahmastra along with Ranbir Kapoor on September 9.
