Recently, in an interview with an international portal, Alia opened up about how it was a little strange for her to work on a Hollywood project.
The Gully Boy star shared, “I’m so used to speaking in Hindi, suddenly on day one speaking in English was weird. Even though I speak in English most of the time, but acting in English suddenly felt a bit strange. But apart from that, day one… kind of awkwardness, I really really felt that it was the same. The process of a film set world over is exactly the same.”
It is always a tough journey when you move out of your comfort zone. But it is often worth it. I can’t wait to see Alia taking over Hollywood just like another desi girl Priyanka Chopra.

During Netflix Tudum 2023 event, Alia shared the trailer of Heart Of Stone with the world. She is sharing the screen with Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan in the spy drama. Interestingly, Bollywood’s quintessential girl-next-door is playing an antagonist in the film. Her character, Keya Dhawan, is the one who steals The Heart and causes chaos in the world.
