More often than not, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are seen hyping each other up. But recently, Alia ruffled some feathers and caused a stir by sharing something about Ranbir. In a video, Alia revealed how Ranbir often tells her to ‘wipe her lipstick off’ as he likes her natural lip colour more. Netizens started calling out Ranbir for his ‘problematic behaviour’ in no time.
While Alia and Ranbir haven’t addressed the whole controversy yet, Alia took to her Instagram and hosted an AMA( Ask Me Anything) session for her followers. During the session, she was asked a series of questions and she answered them with her whole heart. She was also asked to share the best thing about Ranbir and she had the sweetest response to it. Replying to the question, Alia wrote, “He’s my happy place cause I can be my truest most authentic self with him.”
She was also asked if her current Instagram display picture was clicked by Ranbir. To this, she replied, “Yes!!! Even this one…he’s my most fav photographer..EVER!”
In one of the stories, she also revealed how she deals with toxicity and criticism. She shared, “What’s your best discovery?’ asked the mole. ‘That I’m enough as I am’ Said the boy“
While Ranbir’s statement might come off as problematic, it is good to see how subtly Alia addressed the whole situation without saying much.
