Alia Bhatt Is Getting Trolled For Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani Teaser & It Makes No Sense

Karan Johar’s production house recently released the teaser of the highly-anticipated film, Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The 60-second teaser revealed the classic KJo’s storytelling finesse with an impressive star cast. While it left us in awe of Alia and Ranveer’s khatti meethi chemistry, internet trols have somehow found a way to have a field day! 

It all started when some people on the internet started ‘Alia vs Kajol’ battle, comparing how Alia’s ethnic ensembles in Rocky Aur Rani are nothing but a wannabe version of Kajol in Dharma movies. Some people even commented on how the movie is bringing the same old Badri Ki Dulhaniya feels to the table. A user wrote, “As usual, one scene towards the end where all hell breaks loose and alu bitiya yells, screeches and wails.” Another wrote, “She’s coming for Kajol and Nutan’s glory!” Here, have a look:

Isn’t it too soon to pass these judgments about a 3-hour film? It’s just a 60-second teaser and the whole movie is yet to release. KJo and the entire cast have been working on this project for almost two years now. And looking at the number of hits Dharma has given us, we def don’t think it’s okay to make a comparison between Kajol and Alia. They are both, after all, the Dharma leading ladies.

NGL, it is a treat to watch Alia channeling her refreshing Apsara avatar. And NO, that doesn’t mean she is trying to copy Kajol! Both Alia and Kajol are fabulous actors and have their individual strengths. Why compare the two? Can we please calm down and wait for the film’s release?
