It all started with the grand entry Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor made, hand in hand, at the star studded reception of Sonam Kapoor and Anand Ahuja. And ever since, there’s no denying how stunning they both look together. Rumours has it, the two have been dating for quite some time now and are pretty serious about their realtionship. In fact, they are thinking of taking the next big step.
According to reports, Ranbir and Alia might tie the knot in 2020. A source has been quoted saying, “Alia is in a great phase of her life right now. She is in love and they both are sure of each other. Marriage is certainly on the cards but it won’t happen before 2020.”
Not only that, Alia spoke about her marriage plans to a leading daily at length too. Alia said, “I am not someone who plans out my life thinking, ‘Well, that’s how it should be done.’ I feel the best things in life should happen when they are least expected. Maybe, people expect me to get married at 30, but I might surprise myself as well and get married before that.”
Ahem, ahem! Interestingly, Ranbir Kapoor, who never talks about his relationships in public, replied to a fan’s tweet with “Soon hopefully” when asked about marriage plans.
And how can we ignore all the love and admiration flowing on Instagram? Mother Neetu Kapoor seems to like Alia quite a lot as she has been commenting with love emojis on Alia’s pictures which created quite a buzz. In fact, sister Riddhima Kapoor is also out on dinners and sending gifts to Alia, which is a clear indication that the Kapoor family has already given a nod to their relationship.
If you still don’t know how it all started, here’s a little background. Alia and Ranbir became close to each other during the shooting of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra and there’s been no looking back since.
Well, we ain’t complaining at all as the duo makes an adorable pair. Also, we can’t wait to see another dhamaakedaar Bollywood Punjabi wedding.
