A Match Made In Millionaire Heaven: Akash Ambani All Set To Tie The Knot With Shloka Mehta

It seems like wedding bells are in the air for two of India’s most influential business families, namely the Ambanis and the Mehtas. If reports are to be believed, then Mukesh and Nita Ambani’s elder son Akash Ambani is all set to tie the knot with diamantaire, Russell Mehta’s youngest daughter, Shloka. And we must say that if this news is true, then this is going to be THE wedding of the year!

Although both the families are yet to give any statement about the possible union, a source close to the families claims that a formal engagement and announcement will take place in March, and a grand wedding will happen in December this year. Another source refuted the claim and said that no dates have been fixed yet.

While Akash is on the board of Reliance Jio, Shloka is a Director with Rosy Blue Diamonds, her family business and is a co-founder of ConnectFor, an organisation that helps NGOs get volunteers for various causes. Incidentally, Akash and Shloka are both alumni of Dhirubhai Ambani International School and the families have known each other for a very long time.

According to reports, informal congratulations have started pouring in from close friends and relatives of both the illustrious families, but they are waiting for everything to get finalized before they make an official announcement.
