Exclusive: Akanksha Puri Calls Out BB Makers For Sharing & Promoting Her Kiss With Jad Hadid

Akanksha Puri and Jad Hadid’s kiss in the Bigg Boss OTT 2 house continues generating headlines. It all started with Jad’s not-so-subtle flirting with the actress. The Arab model was clearly smitten by her and was spotted making advances. The housemates observed the sparks and ended up asking them to French kiss during a task. And as everyone knows, Akanksha and Jad accepted the challenge.

The most shocking bit? Jad’s response immediately after kissing Akanksha. He went to Avinash Sachdev and said she is a bad kisser.

Later, Salman Khan gave an earful to both contestants for crossing all limits on national TV. Basically, a lot has been said about that kiss until now. However, Akanksha kept mostly mum about it in the BB house and just said she did it like a work assignment. Well, the Swayamvar: Mika Di Vohti fame has been eliminated from the reality show and has finally shared her side of the story in a recent interaction with POPxo.

“Jad Made It Personal”

In a recent interview, Akanksha shared she is miffed with the fact that Jad took the task too personally instead of doing it like a professional. She said, “I did not indulge in love making. It was a task given to me and I performed it. I don’t regret it at all… I felt bad that Jad made this kissing task so personal… had I just touched his lips for 30 seconds we would have still won the task, but he got so involved.”

Akanksha got to know about Jad’s bad-kisser comment only after exiting the house. Commenting on the same, she explained, “I restricted myself and my movement of lips and that’s why he called me a bad kisser but he forgot for me it was just a task, mujhe karna he nahi tha involve hokar (I didn’t want to get involved)… there was no emotion involved from my side. I’m happy Pooja ma’am stood up for me and took my side. He still continued talking about it and stated that he hopes he gets a chance to kiss me again in future. He took the entire matter on a different tangent. I feel he’s a liar and stupid.”

On Jad’s Creepy Image

Viewers are not liking Jad being so flirty inside the house. He is always seen hanging out with women contestants and many feel he is looking for an opportunity to touch them. However, Akanksha has a different take on the topic and doesn’t feel Jad is creepy. “Jad is a liar and I feel he has no guts to talk to people in the face, it’s so disheartening to see what he was talking about me behind my back ‘coz he was very good with me on my face. So, I definitely feel he is double-faced and fake! But he doesn’t behave creepily. In fact, he behaves like a real gentleman in front of everyone,” she said.

Akanksha On Salman Khan’s Response To The Kiss

Akanksha has the perfect response to Salman’s exaggerated reaction to the kiss. When asked if Salman blew the kiss out of proportion, she said, “Yes, definitely. I feel it was just a task and we were allowed to perform it by Bigg Boss. We were not stopped. The way it was promoted through reels, trailers and clips on official pages and sites by the platform, I don’t think it was a problem for the makers or else why would they post it and promote it so much? So, I feel it’s quite contradictory.”

I absolutely agree with the actress. The makers certainly exploited the solution to generate TRPs and then very conveniently held Akanksha and Jad for everything. That’s exploitation and we have hope the makers have a decent explanation.
